While we encourage proactive maintenance to prevent urgent situations, we understand that appliance emergencies can arise without warning. The following situations warrant an emergency service request:
- Complete loss of cooling in refrigerator or freezer compartment
- Unusual sounds indicating compressor or mechanical failure
- Water leaking from the appliance onto flooring or cabinetry
- Electrical burning smell or visible smoke
- Temperature alarm indicating significant deviation from set point
- Door failure preventing proper closure and seal
- Ice maker overflow causing water damage
- Control panel malfunction rendering unit unresponsive

While You Wait for Our Arrival
If you detect an electrical smell or see smoke, unplug the appliance immediately if safe to do so, and do not attempt to operate it further until our technician has completed an assessment.
If water is leaking, place towels to protect flooring and cabinetry, and if possible, locate and close the water supply valve serving the appliance.
If cooling has been lost, minimize door openings to preserve the remaining cold temperature within the compartments. A fully loaded Sub-Zero can maintain safe temperatures for several hours if the doors remain closed.
